Early 19th Century Rockingham "Snuff Taker" Toby Jug
This treacle glazed toby jug is a mid-19th Century product of the famed Rockingham Pottery, in Swinton, Yorkshire. The pottery was a large operation on the estate of the Marquess of Rockingham for over 100 years, finally closing in 1842.
