The JVC GZ-HM655BE uses two card slots to expand the 8 GB internal memory. JVC ensures continuous recording, sequentially filling all installed memory slots. Furthermore, in the latest models, the user interface is completely redesigned. While previous models used a laser touch surface, the current HM655 now has a touchscreen menu. The smart auto mode, video/photo switch, and user button remain physical buttons, making them more accessible than most settings in the touchscreen menu. JVC uses a Konica Minolta lens. JVC HM655 connections are offered with AV, HDMI, and USB outputs. The optical properties of the Konica Minolta lens are undoubtedly top-notch, and the HM655 is no exception. These efforts are rewarded with the best video image in the test. Although recordings in optimal lighting conditions could be slightly more detailed, JVC compensates with excellent performance in low light.
