The official silver assay mark "84" with a woman's head in a kokoshnik, facing left, is visible on the item, used in the Russian Empire and certifying the authenticity of the silver.
The 84 silver assay in the zolotnik system means that the alloy contains 84 parts pure silver and 12 parts impurities
(usually copper), which corresponds to approximately 87.5% pure silver. This assay is characteristic only of silver items from the Russian Empire era.
The pendant shows a stamp with the letters "АН" in an oval, which are the jeweler's (silversmith's) initials.
