Size 52, wool, the inner lining is soft cotton. The hat is stretchy, not too thick, very cool. Bought new, worn by 1 girl for 1 season. The hat hasn't been washed much and it was done on a special wool setting, but of course, the bobbles have clumped and the wool itself has become denser, so I would say it fits a head circumference of 51 cm better. The face is not pressed against this hat. It is really soft and warm.
