With a warm interior, stable size 39, thick sole - feet won't freeze, can tighten laces to keep the snow out, but it might be harder to put on for a foot with a high arch. That's why I'm selling them - bought for my daughter, but she has a high foot arch. Basically, they haven't been worn, only tried on once and realized they won't be used.
