Heinrich & Co. Selb Bavaria porcelain plates
I am selling an exquisite set of six (6) porcelain dessert/snack plates from the legendary German manufactory Heinrich & Co., located in Selb, Bavaria. This company has become an integral part of Villeroy & Boch's history, which only attests to the excellent, superb, and flawless quality of its products.
The plates are made from high-quality, snow-white hard porcelain, adorned with a fine, dark blue rocaille ornament and an elegant rim. The shape is
named "Anmut" (translation – Grace), which is one of the most iconic and successful series of the manufactory, thanks to its soft, undulating lines.
The items are in good condition. In some places, the glaze has become slightly more matte, which is natural considering their venerable age and historical richness. These signs of use give the dishes a special character and authenticity, rather than diminishing their value.
History: The Heinrich & Co. manufactory was founded in 1896 by Franz Heinrich and quickly became one of the leading ones in Germany. Since 1976, Heinrich Selb has been part of the Villeroy & Boch group, making such 1950s items collectible.
