For sale is the legendary set of six dinner plates with the world-famous "Blue Onion" (Zwiebelmuster) decor from the renowned German manufacturer Kahla (Triptis). These items were produced between 1968 and 1987 and have remained impeccable—they are approximately 40–55 years old.
This porcelain is an outstanding example of German quality. The classic cobalt blue painting on a snow-white background adds aristocratic elegance to the table setting. Although they are vintage items, their condition is like new, which attests to the durability and value of the products.
History and facts:
"Zwiebelmuster" is one of the oldest and most popular porcelain decors in the world. Interestingly, the name arose due to a misunderstanding—initially, artists drew pomegranates, but buyers mistook them for onions. Kahla porcelain during the GDR era was exported to all the most prestigious European hotels.
