The Great Atlas of Latvia is the most comprehensive collection of maps ever published about the territory of Latvia. For the first time, Latvia is presented in such detailed scale in one edition - 1:100,000 (1 cm = 1 km). It is the smallest scale in which it is possible to depict almost all roads and homesteads in Latvia, with 55,000 of them named. The maps feature more than 10,000 Latvian villages and other homesteads, 5,400 lakes, and 4,500 river names, while the city plan section includes the names of all 16,000 streets in cities and major villages.
