⚜️ The company was founded in 1890 by James Frederick Wiltshaw together with the Robinson brothers, initially operating under the name Wiltshaw & Robinson. 1894: The trademark "Carlton Ware" was introduced, and the factory was renamed Carlton Works. ⚜️ Initially, the company produced Victorian-style dishes with floral motifs and gilding, often imitating the more expensive Royal Worcester porcelain.
