Gore-Tex ir lielisks materiāls, kas nelaiž cauri mitrumu (WR) un izvada no apava lieko siltumu. 1 kvadrātcentimetrā Gore-Tex materiāla atrodas 3, 5 miljardi poru, kas ir 20 000 reizes mazākas par ūdens pilienu un 700 reizes lielākas par ūdens tvaika molekulu. Surface with Gore-Tex membrane
To ensure the boots are highly durable, the surface is made from lightweight and breathable microfiber and LWG-certified leather. TPU reinforcements protect areas prone to wear, thus extending the lifespan of the boots. The Gore-Tex layer provides excellent breathability and waterproofing.
Gore-Tex is an excellent material that prevents moisture (WR) and expels excess heat from the shoe. In one square centimeter of Gore-Tex material, there are 3.5 billion pores, which are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet and 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. Thus, water cannot penetrate the pores, but there are no obstacles for water evaporation from the inside. These boots are both waterproof and breathable.
The quick closure can be replaced with classic laces.
Soft sole and warm lining
A comfortable and firm molded sole is made from high-quality PU foam, providing a soft and light step. A perforated insole for better breathability and faster drying. A fluffy, heat-retaining polyester lining protects against cold feet.
Outsole
The composition and pattern of the rubber soles of the boots provide excellent grip (SRC). The heat-resistant (HRO) sole is also resistant to oils and lighter chemicals. The sole pattern is easy to clean, and snow or mud will not accumulate in the grooves, keeping your home or workplace cleaner and drier.
Safety elements
Footwear protection is provided by lightweight non-metal components: glass fiber toe cap and puncture-resistant composite sole (P). The safety toe cap made from lightweight glass fiber is thin but very durable (200 J), with thermal insulation, non-magnetic, compact, and lightweight (only 60 g compared to 90 g steel safety toe cap). Glass fibers without metal do not conduct heat or cold.
While the Solid Gear Talus boot sole is heat-resistant, the microfiber surface is not and should be protected from open flames.
Regularly care for your shoes – dry them, clean larger dirt, and wash if necessary. Occasionally, it is recommended to treat the boots with shoe spray to restore their moisture-proof properties.
